JSP-Generator

 

JSP-Generator is an authoring tool written in Javascript to generate Javasketchpad files.

Javasketchpad is an applet that can draw Dynamic Geometry sketches. It's main purpose is to make it possible to show Geometers Sketchpad sketches in a webpage. As the sketches are transformed into a series of <PARAM> statements for the applet such statements can also be generated by hand. This code generation by hand is not an easy road to follow and error prone.

By using JSP-Generator this task is made easier.

 

How to use JSP-Generator

• In the upper window you can type your construction.
• Press „Convert“. In the lower window the converted construction will be shown.
• By pressing „Show“ you can see what your construction will be.

JSP-Generator offers you two help sources:

• The Catalog (HTML) button offers you the JSP-Generator syntax and its description in a HTML table.
• The Catalog (Excel) button offers you both the JSP syntax and the JSP-Generator syntax and its description in Excel.
